12th Week in Ordinary Time
Shared June 26, 2026
As we journey through the 12th week in Ordinary Time, we give thanks for the many witnesses to faith who inspire us to follow Christ more closely.
This week holds special significance for our community as we celebrated the feast of our patron, St. Thomas More, on June 22nd. His courage and integrity, along with his unwavering devotion to God, continue to guide our mission and ministry.
We also honored St. Paulinus of Nola, Bishop, and St. John Fisher, Bishop & Martyr, on June 22nd. During the midweek, we celebrated the Nativity of St. John the Baptist on June 24th. This Saturday, June 27th, we commemorate St. Cyril of Alexandria, Bishop & Doctor of the Church. We pray that their examples of faithful service and their bold proclamations of the Gospel continue to encourage us throughout Ordinary Time.
Let us continue to grow in holiness through prayer, service, and community as we continue to seek to live our faith each day.
St. Thomas More, pray for us! ✝⛪

11th Week in Ordinary Time
Shared June 18, 2026
As we continue our journey into the 11th week of Ordinary Time, we remember the holiness which is continuously found in everyday discipleship. This week, we honor St. Romauld, Abbot, on June 19th, whose life of prayer, simplicity, and devotion continues to inspire the church.
We also join our nation in commemorating Juneteenth, giving thanks for the gift of freedom and renewing our commitment to justice, dignity, and unity for all of God's children.
May the witness of the saints and the hope of freedom lead us ever closer to Christ as we continue our Ordinary Time journey in faith and service.
Be sure to look out for our June newsletter, which is being published later today! You can find it on our website using the link in our bio: www.stthomasmoremission.org/publications

10th Week in Ordinary Time
Shared June 11, 2026
As we return to Ordinary Time, we are reminded that holiness is found throughout the faithful rhythm of everyday discipleship. This week, we continue our journey with the witness of the saints, celebrating the feasts of St. Ephrem on June 9, St. Barnabas the Apostle on June 11, and St. Anthony of Padua on June 13.
We also look forward to two beautiful celebrations that draw us deeper into God's love - the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. May the Sacred Heart inspire us with Christ's boundless mercy, and may Mary's Immaculate Heart lead us ever closer to her Son.
Let us continue to seek Christ in the ordinary moments of our daily lives.
~
Don't forget - Our June issue of the monthly newsletter will be published soon! Be sure to check our website for updates, including the addition of this publication, and other announcements from St. Thomas More Mission.

Memorial Day
Shared May 26, 2026
This past Memorial Day weekend, we remembered and honored the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are grateful to everyone who joined in prayer for our fallen heroes, veterans, and active military members. May God continue to bless their families and our nation.
“Nobody has greater love than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
— John 15:13

The Ascension of The Lord
Shared May 19, 2026
As we conclude the Easter season with the joyful celebration of Pentecost, we reflect with gratitude on this past weekend's celebration of the Ascension of the Lord - the moment Christ ascended into Heaven. Christ remains with us always through the Holy Spirit, the Church, and one another; may we carry His message of faith and hope into our communities with renewed purpose and joy.
This week, we celebrate and honor several faithful witnesses of Christ throughout the Church:
✝ St. John I, Pope & Martyr - May 18
✝ St. Bernardine of Siena, Priest - May 20
✝ St. Christopher Magallanes, Priest and Companions, Martyrs - May 21
✝ St. Rita of Cascia, Religious - May 22
We extend a special shout-out and prayers this week to our neighbors and friends at St. Rita of Cascia High School and St. Rita of Cascia - St. Clare of Montefalco Parish as they celebrate their patroness within the greater community surrounding St. Thomas More Mission.
May this week be filled with peace, renewal, and the courage to continue living as disciples of the Risen Christ.
"Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky?" - Acts 1:11 🌅
